Gubelin Grand Canyon Brooch, 1976

A 70’s Modernist Gold Brooch by Swiss Firm Gubelin. The 18k gold 2 1/8″ x 1 5/8″ organic shaped brooch in a gold mirror finish with a textured matt gold “crevice”. The two textured gold combination of the matt and shiny surface makes this piece an easy go-to for all kinds of jewelry companions. Gubelin, renown for their watchmaking was a forerunner of modernist jewellery design in the 1960’s and 1970’s.
