A Vermeil Necklace/Belt by Cartier, circa 1970 USA c1970 A groovy sterling gilt necklace/belt by Cartier. The 28" necklace/belt made up of 19 silver gilt (vermeil)textured links with a 4" pendant drop. Designed around 1972 and produced for a few years after that this piece became a staple for hipsters in the know. Hey, Jackie "O" had one. Worn as a belt it is stylish, as a necklace..amazing. Price  Condition some very slight wear at hinges,minor discoloration on two links. does not affect overall piece.
